Bilingual Language Services, Inc., doing business as Bilingual America (“Bilingual America,” “we,” “us”), cares about your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use BilingualAmerica.com and our courses, AI tutors, and coaching programs, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have.

The short version: we collect only what we need to provide your service(s) and run your account. We never sell your information. You can export your data or delete your account at any time.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us

  • Account information: your name, email address, password, and profile photo.
  • Form submissions: information you send when you request a free lesson, the free book, or the learning assessment, or when you contact us.
  • Messages: what you send to our support team, coaches, or tutors.

Information created as you learn

  • Progress data: lessons completed, quiz and exam results, certifications, and coaching notes.
  • AI tutoring and session data: the text, audio, and video you submit to our AI tutors, pronunciation grading, and live sessions.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage and device data: pages visited, features used, and basic technical information such as IP address, browser, and device type, which we use to run and secure the site.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide your course, AI tutors, live tutoring, coaching, and certification.
  • To track your progress and give you feedback.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription.
  • To send essential account, billing, and course emails.
  • To respond to your questions and requests.
  • To keep our site and your account secure.
  • To improve our programs and the quality of our teaching.
  • Marketing: with your consent, we may send occasional emails about new courses or promotions. You can unsubscribe at any time.

3. AI Tutoring and Recordings

When you use our AI tutors, pronunciation grading, or live sessions, we may record and store your inputs so we can track your progress, give you feedback, and maintain quality. These inputs are processed by our AI technology providers, Microsoft Azure, OpenAI, and Anthropic, only to deliver these features to you. If you prefer not to be recorded, you can choose not to use these features.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with the people and service providers who help us run your program, and only as needed for that work:

  • Stripe: processes all payments. Stripe is a certified PCI Level 1 Service Provider, the highest level of certification in the payments industry.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS): hosts our website and data.
  • Microsoft Azure, OpenAI, and Anthropic: power our AI tutors and speech tools.
  • Cloudflare: protects our website from attacks and malicious traffic.
  • Email providers: send account, billing, and course emails on our behalf.
  • Your tutors and Success Coach: see your profile, progress, and session information so they can help you.
  • Your employer, for corporate programs: if your company enrolled you, its program administrators can see your profile and progress.

Our service providers must protect your information and may use it only to provide services to us. We will disclose information only if required by law, such as a valid court order. Before doing so, our policy is to have legal counsel review the order.

5. Cookies and Embedded Content

We use only essential cookies: to keep you signed in, run your shopping cart, and secure the site. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Some pages include content from other websites, such as videos. Our YouTube videos use privacy-enhanced mode, so YouTube does not set tracking cookies unless you play a video. Content from other sites follows those sites’ own privacy policies.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features, such as signing in, may not work without them.

6. Your Choices and Rights

  • Export or delete: download your data or delete your account at any time from your account settings.
  • Access and correction: update your account information at any time, or ask us to see or correct what we hold about you.
  • Marketing emails: unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email.
  • Subscriptions: cancel anytime with one click in your account. You won’t be charged again, and your access continues through the month you’ve already paid for.
  • Community: choose who you interact with, restrict others from contacting you, or block another member.

You can also make any of these requests by email or through the contact form on our website. We will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.

7. How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep your account and progress information while your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we keep it so you can pick up where you left off if you return.

If you delete your account or ask us to delete your information, we delete it and do not keep it. The only exception is payment and transaction records, which we must keep as long as required for tax and accounting purposes.

8. Security

We protect your information with industry-standard practices, including HTTPS encryption on every page. Our site runs on WordPress, and we regularly update all plugins and themes to apply the latest security protections. Our servers are hosted on Amazon EC2 and benefit from Amazon’s cloud security measures. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your information.

9. Where Your Information Is Processed

Our servers and service providers are located in the United States. If you use our programs from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

10. Community Guidelines

Our community is a positive learning environment. When commenting or interacting with other students, please be respectful and relevant. We may moderate or remove content that breaks these guidelines. Please don’t share personal information in the community that you don’t want others to see.

11. Children’s Privacy

Our programs are designed for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account. Students under 18 may take part only if a parent or legal guardian registers them and stays involved in their learning. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and change the effective date above. If we make a significant change, we will also notify active students by email.

Speaking too slowly, pausing too much, or sounding choppy will lower their score. Speaking with a steady rhythm and minimal awkward breaks will raise it. It’s not about speed—it’s about natural flow. Spanish Power Course

Spanish Power is a comprehensive course that progresses from Basic to Expert levels, with 12 structured lessons in each level. The four levels are Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, and Expert. Each level builds step by step toward Spanish language mastery.

Depending on the learner’s goals, aptitude, and available time, a healthy pace ranges from two to six lessons per month. Each lesson takes the average learner about three hours to complete, with the option to invest additional time practicing with their virtual tutor.

A perfect score of 100 percent earns a Perfect Exam Badge, along with special recognition printed on the certificate itself.

When a student begins the course, they set a monthly lesson goal based on how many Spanish Power lessons they aim to complete each month. This metric tracks how closely their actual progress aligns with that goal.

For example, if a student sets a goal of completing 3 lessons per month and completes 2.8, they are 0.2 lessons behind their stated goal. If they complete 3.5, they are 0.5 lessons ahead of goal. This helps both students and coaches stay aligned with learning expectations and make timely adjustments when needed.

Session Settings Overview

Your session preferences let you customize how you interact with your tutor. The default setup is designed for smoother performance and faster feedback. By default, the tutor’s voice is muted to help sessions process more quickly, but you can enable it anytime if you prefer spoken feedback.

Your voice recordings are set by default for review before upload, allowing you to listen, confirm, and adjust your answer. When reviewing, the playback text appears in the box next to the microphone so you can easily check what you said. If you prefer a faster rhythm, you can switch to automatic upload so your response sends immediately. This option works best if you want to keep the session moving with more flow and interactivity.

You can also mute response sounds, keep the tutor’s feedback speed at a natural pace, and receive both coaching and scoring feedback. Scoring feedback explains where points were deducted and why, helping you improve with each exercise. If you skip scoring feedback during the session, you’ll still receive a summary report after all 10 exercises showing your scores for each one. These defaults create an efficient, focused, and flexible learning experience.

1. Voice-Only Experience: To build real fluency, all responses must be spoken out loud. This is a voice-only exercise; typing is not allowed.

2. Start Recording: Click the green button to begin speaking. When recording starts, the button will turn red and pulse so you know the system is listening.

3. Speak the Complete Sentence: Say the entire sentence clearly and confidently.

4. Stop Recording: When you finish speaking, click the red button to stop the recording. If you do not stop it manually, the recording will automatically stop after six seconds. Your answer will then upload automatically.

5. Review Answer Before Upload (Optional): Turn on the review toggle to see what the system captured. Click the upload button to the right to submit your answer. If you want to change your response, simply record again.

6. Coaching Hints: If your response needs a small correction, your coach will give a brief spoken observation and an on-screen hint. Pay attention to these cues; they will help you improve in the moment.

7. Three Attempts to Master: If the correct answer is not reached by the third attempt, a Go Deeper button will appear. Click it for focused feedback on your last attempt and the option to ask follow-up questions.

8. Session Summary: Complete all six exercises in a round to receive your performance summary, including feedback on pronunciation and fluency.
